    1. Key points

    Brake pads are part of the car's braking system, and also belong to the most important component of safety. Therefore, you must be very cautious when replacing it. It is recommended that technical professionals such as vehicle repair technicians who have undergone relevant studies and training should carry out the replacement.

    2. Disassembly and assembly

    The elevator friction plate stopped the car on a thoroughly level road, tightened the brakes, and then unscrewed a small part of the nut on the wheel of the car. Put a wedge under the wheel to prevent slipping. Use a hydraulic jack to jack up the wheel, and use a cable bridge to ensure stability. Remove the wheel of the car. Before removing the brake pads, use hydroxyethanol or neat brake pedal fluid to completely clean the outer surface of the brake caliper body.

    Wire brushes can be used to remove too many road stains. If it is equipped with silencer washers, use needle-nose pliers to remove all the silencer washers of the brake pads, and record their installation positions in detail to ensure proper replacement. Check the condition of the spring clamp, if it is damaged or destroyed, replace it when reassembling.

    3. Cleaning and inspection of the friction plate of the forklift clutch

    Use hydroxyethanol or neat brake pedal fluid to completely clean the tightly connected areas of the brake pads to prevent damage to the dust jacket, hoop and guide parts. If there is no rubber sheath installed on the piston rod of the brake caliper, before installing a new brake caliper, clean the exposed surface before installing the brake disc piston rod and then install the brake disc. Carefully check whether there is rust or damage on the outer surface of the piston rod, and replace it if necessary.

    4. Reinstall

    Be careful to coat the anti-sticking provincial and municipal copper grease on the back and edges of the new brake pads, remove the wear-resistant materials, and apply them to the tight connection grooves of the brake discs. To install silencer washers, insert new brake pads and silencer washers into the brake calipers, and use new pins, positioning pins and spring clamps to fix them in a suitable place. Connect all protective grounding (damage indicator) according to the appropriate method again. The same process is also used for the total distance of the brake pads on the same axis directly opposite.
